Why we built HelloLocal
Rajahmundry is one of the oldest and most culturally rich cities in Andhra Pradesh — a city on the banks of the mighty Godavari, steeped in history, art, and tradition. Yet for all its richness, locals struggled to find a single reliable place to discover local jobs, events, businesses, and community news.
National platforms were either irrelevant or buried local content under a mountain of results from other cities. WhatsApp groups were chaotic. Facebook pages were fragmented. There was no one place where a Rajahmundry resident could go to find everything about their own city.
So we built it. HelloLocal started with a simple idea: create the platform we wished existed for Rajahmundry. A place where locals can find jobs, discover events, list their business, sell items, and stay informed — all in one place, for free.
